That Winter The Wind Blows:- 'Happy Or Sad ending'

This is one question, I am quite sure which is intriguing our minds. With only 3 days to go we will be at the point from where there would be no comebacks.

If it is a sad ending which is what most of us have anticipated. Then we would remember the drama with  strings attached. Where even after the end of the drama we would be making up our own endings.

On the other hand if it has a happy ending, it won't make us resentful. It would be laid in memory to be remembered for making two most unlikely people to fall in love. Despite the differences in their backgrounds.

Now people who have a hope that there is a sheer chance of happy ending.

Good news for them. Some stills were released which suggested that we can even try thinking otherwise.
The stills show both of them in an open balcony chatting. Another one shows them kissing in the same location. Yet another one shows them walking amidst the flowers.

So wait for April 3rd and let us see, which way the wind turns.

'You are the best Lee Soon Shin' - episode 8 Preview

Episode 8 preview shows Shin Joon-ho setting up the contract for Lee Soon Shin. Soon Shin meets Shin Yi-jung at the restaurant to show her that and discuss about it.

He prepares a presentation for her, but some how it doesn't go the way he intended. Then he is shown speaking with Choi Yeon-ah, who wishes him luck.

Shin Dong-hyuk Joon Ho's father is shown talking to Song Mi-ryung at his hospital. Soon Shin's grandmother and Chan Woo's father are talking about some old matters. Then Chan Woo's father and mother see Mi ryung waiting in car and get alarmed on seeing her.

Later on Chan Woo is set out on discussing matters with Hye-shin. But she as always don't listen up.

Soon Shin's mother asks her grandma regarding the photo she got last time of her father and Mi ryung. Although she is unable to recognize her. Grandma even after knowing that its her doesn't tell Shin's mother.

But later on she finds the same red shawl shown in the photo.

The third teaser for 'When a Man Loves' are out.

The teaser does everything that you want it to do. It has betrayal, love, agony, revenge and empire success. 

Song Seung Hun looks intriguing. Shin Se Kyung is again playing the same stereotypical roles, of a girl from unfortunate background. 

 Chae Jung An who has a cold and distant relationship with Song Seung Hun is evident even in the trailer. She seemed a happy go lucky character when I saw her in First Shop of Coffee Prince but this character is a bit different. Here she is ready to do everything to get what she desires.

 Yeon Woo Jin is shown having happy times with Song Seung Hun. But the picture develops a crack, as both are shown falling for the same girl, Shin Se Kyung.

'All About My Romance' Official Posters are Out

The stills which were released initially were intense and sharp, which were misguiding as the drama was supposed to be a political romcom. Clear on political stand, not  on romcom.

 Lee Min-jung was shown delivering some speech. Shin Ha-kyun was glaring at the proceedings.

That made me think where exactly is the love angle. 

Then came the unofficial posters, which in itself were completely different story. They looked as if all the four characters were buddies, from college time or something. 

First the narration and second the adaptation didn't fit well. 

But then came the trailers, which helped us connect as to exactly what were these posters and stills trying to convey.  But lets face it, seriously the posters should have been better. They were supposed to be at a glance of the full story. If not that atleast they should have been humorous, keeping in mind there was comedy too.

But these which are here are official posters. They too don't meet the expectations.

Let them not keep you from actually discovering 'All About My Romance'.

Drama is set to premier on April 4, taking the time slot of  'That  Winter The Wind Blows'.

Now it is for us to see, whether we are waiting for Wednesdays and Thursdays. Or are we letting them pass.

Kim Hyun Joong News

Those who are not aware of the news that there was Kim Hyun Joong drama that was set to be released in 2013 on KBS.

Reason that it isn't being aired is that KBS declined to give it a time slot in its 2013 drama line up.

The production company for the drama was 100 Media which had invested a whooping 4 billion Won on this project.

Drama's content being too violent and not up to the mark, were the grounds on which the drama had been turned down.

Drama had Kim Hyun Joong as the male lead Baek Mi-Reu. Jeong Yu Mi as the female lead Lee Dan Bi. 

Later on due to delay in the scheduling of the drama and the issues regarding its air, Kim Hyun Joong dropped it.

The actors have been changed but still it didn't manage to book a slot, as KBS reported it as not meeting the required standard.

The story was based on a Japanese Manga. The story illustrated a Baek Mir who had a hard bitten childhood. He was abandoned  by his parents at a very young age. Then a series of events led into him being a fierce and angry youth.

He was full with  the feeling of revenge against the evils of  the society. He had spent his boyhood living in a place surrounded by prostitutes. with the advent of his fathers death his determination to take down the filthy society grew. 

In this process he fell in love with Dan Bi, who by profession is a jewellery designer. Dan Bi already has a loyal suitor, who later on becomes Baek Mir's arch rival.

 

I personally was waiting foe this drama to come out. But now as we know the drama is out of slot. Most importantly Kim Hyun Joong has dropped out. So now we have to wait longer until we see him again playing dramas. It has been long since the end of Playful Kiss. 

Hope too see more of him soon.

Park Shin Hye considered for 'Knife and Flowers'

The title of the drama seems  apropos considering it is based on inner conflict of the princess.
Sword symbolizing the revenge and flower for love. 
It is a period drama with romance. It is scheduled to be broadcasted starting this July on KBS. Airing time slot will  be Wednesday and Thursday.

The drama is being directed by  Kim Yong Soo who has also directed The equator man and White Christmas. The equator man being premiered in last slot along with The King 2 Hearts and Rooftop Prince, still managed to be number one in rankings. Kwan Min Soo is the screenwriter.

 Park Shin Hye is  being considered to play the lead, Mu Young. This would be her her first KBS drama as a lead, if agreed for the role. 

"Sword and Flower” is the tale of inner conflict, when one has to choose between love and revenge. Mu Young, the daughter of Goguryeo’s King Young Ryu  falls for Yeon Chung the murderer of her own father.He is the son of Yeon Gae So Mun. 

Her entertainment agency neither confirmed nor denied the allegations about the role.

Lee Min Ho is BACK........

To all the ones who think it hasn't been long since FAITH has got over and want to have more of  Lee Min Ho we have 'HEIRS'.
But interestingly the full name of the drama is 'He Who Wishes To Wear the Crown, Endure Its Weight': Heirs. The name itself is too heavy to take the weight.
So lets change the focus to the drama.

Its from the writer of successful dramas Kim Eun Sook who has already given us A Gentleman’s Dignity, Secret Garden and Lovers in Paris. Lovers in Paris  had gained peak viewership of 57.6% becoming the 11th highest rated drama of all time. Whereas A Gentleman’s Dignity was a rip off of Sex and City but male version. And Secret Garden needs no description as it was the most recent one.

Direction to the drama is being given by Kang Shin Hyo one who has directed Tazza and Midas.

Lee Min Ho expressed his gratefulness stating that he has always wished to collaborate with her. So now when the opportunity has come along, he will make most out of it.

Kim Eun Sook is known and applauded for writing tailor made roles for the actors, is once again looking forward to live to the expectations of the fans. She also praised him saying she sees him as the actor of great potential.

Heirs will be 20 episodes long and plans to air on SBS later this year.

Tighten up your seat belts and wait for the excitement to begin.

Song Seung Hun’s Stand on Marriage.

In a recent press conference held at the 63City Juniper Hall in Yeouido, Song Seung Hun along with the staff and cast of upcoming SBS drama 'When a Man Loves' stated he has no plans of getting married.
 

This press conference took place on 27 March.

When one of the reporters raised the question whether marriage was on cards. He said:-

“I currently don’t have any plans, but I don’t think I can,” stated the actor, making the reporters laugh. “My fantasy on marriage is slowly disappearing. All the women that I’ve dated, I met them without marriage in mind.”

He admitted that his has a small dream to live for one woman and their children. “But that’s not a small dream and I think it will be very hard. None of the married people around me have suggested marriage.”

But then there was his best friend, Kwon Sang Woo.
“Sang Woo loves [marriage]. He’s the only one that love marred life. He’s always showing me his son’s pictures.”

So for now just enjoy the drama starting on April 3. Marriage or no marriage lets wait for that question to be answered with time.

All About My Romance- First and Second Teaser

 Lee Min Jung:- I apologise for disappointing my constituency.

 Shin Ha-kyun:-Its the fault of ignorant citizens that they have chosen such an incompetent politician.
(I assume he means her.)

Little does he know that later he will develop feelings and fall for her.
In the end of the teaser both are shown talking. And while drinking he puts his hand around her forehead saying 'I like you or I don't like you'. He keeps on murmuring this.

Set in political background this drama features Kim Soo Young (Shin Ha Kyun) and Noh Min Young (Lee Min Jung). Kim Soo Young entered politics after his refusal to bow under the pressure of his superiors.  Noh Min Young is another freshman to assembly, who entered politics after the death of her sister. Her elder sister was a potential presidential candidate. What will make it toilsome is the two leads won't have a happy shot with a click of camera. Rather it will be retakes that you have to go through before you can actually see them romancing. Now question that surrounds is why is it arduous?
Both our leads hail from different political parties. Soo Young represents conservative New Korea Party, on other hand Min Young is from liberal Progressive Labour party.
Although they might be standing on two different daises, but there is one thing which connects them. Both had never harboured any thoughts about entering into politics.

Ahn Hee Sun will be playing a reporter.  Drama is from the writer of ‘Protect The Boss’. The drama will succeed ‘That Winter, The Wind Blows’ and begin broadcast next month.

Gu Family Book's New Stills

The drama is set to be aired on April 8. Now we have new stills of the leading ladies.

The drama is destined to be quadrangle. This along with 'When a Man Loves' is another one of the quadrangle combo. The other one being aired on April 3. You have one packed with history and half-human, half gumiho conflict. Whereas the other offers modern day setting with gangster, who has fallen into webs from all ends. But what is common among the two is, we have characters chasing for love. And all these running after leads to cross connections.

Lee Yubi is in the above stills. She will be the first love of Lee Seung-gi.

Personally I loved the Posters. Pitch perfect as they themselves are trying to narrate a story, but in short.

Let us hope the drama too is rich and intense like the posters.

Caution:- Spoiler 'That winter The wind blows'
 
Many of you might not be aware of the fact that there is already a Korean Movie based on the story line of That winter The wind blows. The movie came in 2006 named 'Love Me Not' .
Movie had Moon Young Geun as Min playing the role Song Hye Kyo is playing in the drama.
Kim Joo-hyuk is Julian the role played  by Zo In Sung.
 Now if we see the ending of this movie, it is quite obvious that our drama has a very apt title. Reason being in the end of the movie everything is shown covered with snow. Old memories and belongings of Min is all white and snowy. Now there is something you didn't expect Julian can see. (WHAT?????)
Question is HOW?
Answer to the question is what will make you cry, sad and distressing. Both Julian and Min die. Min had no luck in surviving as tumor had relapsed. And Julian was stabbed as he couldn't repay the debt. They have shown both of them reuniting in Heaven. That is where she can see.
So with 3 episodes to go, lets see how the drama ends.

DR: Is there any most memorable incident or present from Minoz (your fans)?

LMH: (laughs) There are. of course. The most memorable thing was, there’s time when I traveled to a country. When they greeted me at the airport, someone pinched my butt! Wah, I really can’t forget on that incident.

DR: Your career’s shining brighter than ever, so our question is, from all of your dramas, which character that left a deep impression the most to you?

LMH: Of course Goo Jun Pyo in BBF is the most memorable drama for me. Because of that drama, i received lots of love from my fans. But the drama that left a deep impression the most was actually City Hunter. There were so many challenges and hardships. It was hard!

DR: Hard? What happened?

LMH: Yes, it’s was hard because I have to learn again to be able to deliver a perfect action scenes. Because most of the scenes were all actions and I have no stunt double, so I can’t make a mistake.

DR: So in the future, what kind of challenge/character do you want to play?

LMH: I want to go back to school, I want to act as a high schooler.

DR: When you were child, what was your dream?

LMH: when I was a child, I never dreamt to be an actor. Instead, I wanted to be a soccer player because I really loved soccer. But as I grew up, during my 3rd year in high school, I started my training years as an actor and I was very serious at it.

Its a family drama with a package of 50 episodes. It's broadcasted on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Drama has already started and 6 episodes have been aired. 

The drama is like comfort food which you eat whenever you feel low. And no risks involved, regarding whether you will like it or not.

The drama revolves around a family of three daughters. Their father dies in a road mishap, while trying to save someone. The family is grief stricken after the incident. 

The youngest daughter played by IU (dream high fame) named Lee Soon Shin. She is naive and had a very low success rate in whatever she has done till date. Due to this she becomes a very easy target and gets into a scam, where a man promises her to be casted as an actress. Later on when she gets a phone call from bank, stating she has to start paying 10 Million won debt, this is when it hits her that she has been conned.

Family members are furious over her. 

The story is about people who are scared in life. People who are marred with inferiority complex. It shows how scarred people finally come out of these webs and become free. But it is realistic on the front that breaking these chains aren't a day job. 

It takes you through the struggles, the rejections and hardships one has to go through when everything slowly falls apart.

During Soon Shins struggles she meets Shin Joon Ho played by Jo Jung Suk(King two hearts fame).

He is an arrogant and over confident man, who thinks evrything would turn out the way he wants. He takes in Soon Shin in his drama agency as a part of  a challenge.

Now let us see how these two would cross paths with each other to finally discover true meanings of their lives.

Gu Family Book

A melodrama epic about the great deal of trouble Choi Kang Chi, born as a half-human-half-mythical-creature, who goes through in order to become human and a story of Choi Kang Chi’s journey of struggling in order to live more like a human than anyone else despite not being able to become human. Yoon Seo Hwa (Lee Yeon Hee) and the guardian god of Jiri mountains, Gu Wal Ryung fell in love but due to the trap of their enemies, the Yoon family status fell into ruins. While Seo Hwa was on the run with her maid (Kim Bo Mi), she received news that Wal Ryung had disappeared after a mishap. Feeling unable to raise her son while escaping, she sent him down the river in a basket hoping that someone could take him in.
Choi Kang Chi (Lee Seung Ki) was raised by the Choi family after having been picked up from the river. In the drama, Choi Kang Chi is the son of Gu Wol Ryung, the guardian spirit of Jiri Mountain, and Seo Hwa, his human mother. Kang Chi is an outspoken character who’s full of curiosity. He realizes that he’s a half-human-half-beast through a certain incident and starts living his second life.
Dam Yeo Wool (Suzy) is a master of martial arts and archery. Yeo Wool is an upright character who really values the Three Bonds and Five Relationships in Confucianism, and becomes an instructor at a martial arts center at a young age.

So here we have Lee Seung Ki again with a new drama. After success of his previous dramas King 2 Hearts and My Girlfriend is a nine tailed fox, let us see whether this Gumiho connection keeps up his fandom.
And Suzy has landed up as the female lead, first time without others looming around. She is looking  terrific in all traditional attire of an instructor.

Scheduled to broadcast on Mondays and Tuesdays. This drama has a total of 24 episodes, meaning a good wholesome package to gulp.
